My Taco Bell Boyfriend

Well, it has certainly been a rough past three days. On this past Friday, I had several assignments due and I went to bed at about 6 am and woke up at 8 to revise. So I was in a super-cranky mood and the day was rainy and I was incredibly emotional, to a point where I should have just stayed in bed, but of COURSE, I didn't.

Instead I went to several meetings, went back to my room and just burst into unnecessary tears. Why was I crying? I don't even know. I guess this is what happens when I am confronted with little sleep and a lot of pressure and an upcoming holiday of the devil.

It was silly.

I hadn't had an emotional day like that since sophomore year, but in a way, I'm kind of glad that I released like that. I used to be a ginormous crier--like once a week, but this was the first time I had a good cry in 7 months.

So I took the weekend off. I did my laundry, took really long showers, stayed in pajamas all day--it was great. I hung out with Lisa a lot, it is wonderful having such an awesome friend. I was lying in bed on Friday night and was thinking about how I would like to eat some food from outside UNM and lo and behold, she called me up and took me out to some good home cookin' at Christy Mae's...and it was DELICIOUS!

I was SO tired. It is hard to live, breathe, and work in the same place--especially without any sort of vehicle to escape in. So I just left my door shut the whole weekend--it was AWESOME.

But anyway, as part of my weekend in the great indoors, I watched Cinema Paradiso--which had been on my "movies to watch" list for far too long.

And what did I do?

I cried.

But not the same crying as Friday. More of an appreciation of life crying. It was good.

Tonight Lisa and I went to Taco Bell for dinner (YUM + Walking Distance = AWESOME). And I met my valentine there...although he doesn't know it really. So I ordered the 2 taco kids meal, as I always do, because it is the most amazing combination of all time and the man gave me a drink upgrade...(he loves me!!).

So I fill up my drink at the station and I wait for my order, which is made VERY quickly (he loves me!!). I get my food and I notice that instead of the usual tiny order of nachos, it is their crispy cinnamon twists. I am like, "Oh man, you guys changed the kids meal and didn't even let me know!" He was like, "Oh girl, I'm sorry, it's management! But here, here is some nachos." He loves me!

So thank you Taco Bell Boyfriend with a tattoo on your hand, you made my night. I salute you.
