People Who Still Miss High School Are Pathetic

GOSH!

I’ve wanted to write an entry all day, but it has been giving me the “buy the gold version or die” screen. Oy.

Today has been pretty low key; I’ve been on task, getting lots of things done. I turned in my Greek Civilization midterm at noon, went to my classes, saw my Favorite Lobo…

Well…I saw him as I was walking to my Greek Civ. class. He was about twenty feet in front me and I instantly did one of those retarded high school “OH MY GOSH” sounds in my head. So I walk…and I look like a total stalker because he starts walking into the building that I have the class in. So I walk in, and the line was out the door to turn them in because there are 700+ people in there. So, he is a student in the class, I can handle that! And he is directly in front me.

Now, I understand that when you are a big-time basketball player, just being named to the conference team, you get certain liberties when it comes to school. But wearing sweats all the time when you are a sexy, sexy man? Not good. He needs someone to queer-eye him for sure.

So. He is right in front of me, I am by myself, so I can’t interject fascinating conversation for him to overhear. I realize that with my high-heeled boots on (gives me four inches), I still barely reach his shoulder. Just the way a sexy man should be. So I look at the back of his head, (a gift of Aveda’s Be Curly would go far), I take in his apparel, and since we are in such close proximity, I take a whiff of the eau d’ basketball player. He is smell-less. Which is ok, especially considering his sweatpants set.

Folks, I nearly died. Because I am such a nerd like that.

So, now I know that he is in my class, so who knows, maybe I will one day get the nerve to crack a joke, fall down some stairs into his arms, or who knows, tell him bless you after a sneeze. Until then, I enjoy being the fly on the wall with a huge childish crush.

* * * *

I had a stellar meeting with my Master Teacher for the class I am co-teaching, I had a fantastical meeting with my honors advisor, and I graded all of my papers. I think Lisa and I will hit the dollar theater tonight, so that will be fun.

I also ordered my graduation announcements on Sunday, they will be here on Thursday…CRAZY! I had to fill out everything that I wanted on it, here it goes:

Blah blah blah, the university, blah
Christine ____ ________
is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts
in Psychology
and a minor in English
with Departmental and University Honors

to be given blah blah blah,
on this day, blah blah blah.

COOL! I can’t believe it…I just have to make it through 8 more weeks of school.
I can do it.
