Weekend Wonder

This weekend was refreshingly uneventful. True to my word, I completely organized my house--which included unpacking ten boxes from my move, finally putting my guest bedroom together (yay for Roevall being able to use it this next weekend!), and cleaning my house like a fanatical Greek woman on a rampage.

Embarassingly enough, two third-graders stopped by my house on Saturday afternoon while I was still cleaning it. Thankfully, I had regular clothes on, but I had clearly yet to shower. It was weird. They were riding their bikes around the neighborhood and wanted to say hi. It's always funny when you see a teacher outside of school--but particularly so when your teacher is wearing jean shorts and an old t-shirt.

It was the first weekend in a loooong time that I was able to just sleep in and regroup. It was nice. I was able to have meaningful conversations with a lot of my friends. Friends are like cups of tea. Each a different blend and spice, yet comforting in their own ways.

Oh, and ELLYN! I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOUR WEDDING!!! YARGH! Oh, and my mom wants you to register at Linen and Things.

Last night, the other girl teachers out here came over to watch Grey's Anatomy. I made a cake for it and we had a good time. That show is the only addictive drama that I've come across in a long time. Highly recommended!

Anyhow, the end of reading time has approached and I must bid farewell.
