Living out here has provided me with a lot of AHA! moments that are making me laugh at myself and how I react to things. I can be pretty ridiculous at times and I think perspective can always be a good thing to keep in mind. Throughout my life, I've had a pretty keen sense of intuition. If I think that something might possibly happen, it usually does. Here are a few examples... Spring 2006, MUNI San Francisco I look at my backpack pin that I have had since seventh grade and think how sad I would be if it were to get messed up on my trip home. I think that I should put it away. The pin falls off somewhere over Los Angeles and I never see it again! WEEEEEIRD! Fall 2005 I really don't want to take my camera downtown for my birthday because it doesn't fit in anyone's purse and I think I'll lose it. The camera is stolen that night. CREEEEEEEEEEEPY! Two Weeks Ago... I look at my tires and think that something isn't quite right with them. Just by looking. I tell my dad and he says that nothing is wrong with them. I ask him to PLEASE have them checked (because I can't do it by myself). The tires? Two in front needed to be replaced because the inner tire was jacked with gravel and the tire guy (and my dad. and me) was glad that I had brought them in because, "anything could have happened." I'm not sure what anything is...but I'm glad it didn't happen.
